Up overhead there’s a Supermoon
Like a red balloon
Glowing and gold all at the same time.

Only appears in this awesome state
On a perfect date
In rare magical years
When the planets align.

Celebrate these moments.
Living in these days.
The sky looks so much brighter
Once you’ve seen it in the haze.

So dance with me to the music in my soul.
Sing with me though we can’t sing too well.
Take my breath away.
‘Cause each day is like that Supermoon.
Each day that I’m with you
Is like that Supermoon.

How can things be so astonishing
So incredible
Yet so terrible
All at the same time?

Here we are watching this history
In our galaxy.
Tomorrow it’s gone
But your hand’s still in mine.

We’re on this road together.
Sometimes it’s been so hard.
But I know the day we met
Was written in the stars.

So dance with me to the music in my soul.
Sing with me though we can’t sing too well.
Take my breath away.
‘Cause each day is like that Supermoon.
Each day that I’m with you
Is like that Supermoon.
