Suzy Zail started her working life as a solicitor but left the law to write The Tattooed Flower, an account of how her father survived the Holocaust. Suzy’s first work of fiction for young adults, The Wrong Boy, has been included in the 2015 USBBY Outstanding International Books list and was short-listed for Book of the Year in the Older Readers category at the 2013 Children’s Book Council of Australia Awards. In 2015, her novel, Alexander Altmann A10567 was recognised as a Notable Book. Suzy’s books have been published in Germany, the UK, U.S., Sweden, Italy and the Netherlands.

After careers in the non-profit sector and then in college student affairs and advising, Cheryl has now begun her next career as a writer. She is a member of a supportive writing critique group and is working on her first novel.

Renate G. Justin, MD retired from medical practice in her mid-seventies. She received a prize both from the Canadian and American Academy of Family Physicians for her work with and publications about end-of-life issues. She has published numerous articles for both the lay and professional press. Her essays have been included in several anthologies. "What I Have to Tell" is an intimate, haunting memoir that recounts the remarkable history and set of happenstances that shaped one woman’s life and forever changed the lives of countless women and children across the globe. Dr. Justin engages readers with stories from her past that seems to test reality and speak to the profound fluidity and resilience of the human spirit. As a final offering, this is what she has to tell.

Danit Gold, born 1988, resides in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel. She is a Literature MA student in the Tel Aviv University creative writing program and a graduate of the theater direction and instruction program at the Kibbutzim College of Education, Technology and the Arts (B.Ed.). Her debut novel, ‘Expansion’ was published this year as part of the Pardes Publishing House’s ‘Saltwater’ series and was edited by Ilana Bernstein. Danit’s stories and poems have been published in various literary magazines and periodicals.

Tali has a passion for aligning business strategy with people strategy to create and sustain organisational capability that delivers results. In her current role of Manager, OD Programs & Talent Management, EA & A/NZ, Tali leads regional level projects focused on influencing Employee Engagement, Talent Management, Employee & Leadership Development, Inclusion & Diversity, all underpinned by change management practices.
Tali holds a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Monash University and Bachelors degrees in Psychology and Commerce from the University of Melbourne. Tali is a certified HR practitioner and the VP of the Australian HR Institute Victorian Council. Tali is passionate about the development of the next generation of talent and has impact as a board member of the Jewish Professional Women’s Network and Mentor with the Australian HR Institute and Females in Technology and Telecommunications.

Shoshanna Keats Jaskoll is a writer and an activist and co-founder of Chochmat Nashim, helping fight extremism and raise the voice of Jewish women.

Sharon Malecki is the CEO of Access Inc, a volunteer-involving organisation which partners with people with disabilities. She was also previously a Volunteer Program Manager, has been part of working groups for Volunteering Victoria and is a life-long volunteer.
