Carol Bergman is a journalist and co-owner of Mediacs, an independent publishing company. She lives in New Paltz, NY. Carol's short stories, poems and creative nonfiction have been published in many publications in the US, UK and Canada. Her articles, essays, reviews and interviews have appeared in The New York Times, The Times (of London), The Christian Science Monitor,, and Salon.com. She is the author of “Searching for Fritzi,” a Holocaust memoir. A founding faculty of Gotham Writers’ Workshop, she has been teaching in the NYU/SPS/CALA writing program since 1997.
