I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and am one of out 5 children. My family has all made aliyah and I currently live in Givat Shmuel with my husband and two wonderful daughters. I studied social work at Bar Ilan University and work with the elderly in a Nursing Care Company as a social worker.
Lori Prashker-Thomas is a Jewish Birth Mother, who up until recently never discussed her story of placing a child for adoption because of the stigma attached to the subject within the Jewish community. She is now an advocate for Jewish women, both as a speaker and a writer. She is also Co-Owner/Photographer of ShadowCatcher Photography and Owner and Officiant at Ceremonies by Lori.
Zelda Harris was born in London and came to Israel in 1949. She returned to England in 1966. She was a founding member of the Women's Campaign for Soviet Jewry. In 1978, she returned with her family to Israel and has been active in various spheres of Israeli Society since. Together with the late Chaim Herzog, she founded CCC for Electoral Reform, was the Director of BIPAC in Israel, and a co-founder of Metuna, the Organisation for Road Safety, which received the Speaker of Knesset Quality of Life Award for saving lives on the roads and prevention of serious injury. She is now a peace activist, blogger for Times of Israel and is writing her life story.

L.B. O’Milla was born in Kiev, Ukraine, and loved to read and write from an early age. When she was 26 years old, she with her husband and daughter fled the country escaping the ethnic and religious persecution. She arrived to America as a refuge. In the US, O'Milla graduated from NYU and worked as a physical therapist while raising her family, but she never gave up her love of writing. Her writing has appeared on the Hebrew International Aid Society website, telling her personal story.
Hayley Kamis is a woman who finds herself continuously straddling two worlds, most recently allopathic and holistic medicine. As an integrative medicine practitioner, she provides relaxation, stress-reduction and pain management therapies to inpatients and their families in a local health system. As a speech-language pathologist, a background in effective communication, recognition of different learning and cognitive styles, and a second-nature level of comfort interacting with peoples of all backgrounds and conditions, Hayley relishes the opportunity to meet and learn from all the people she meets. From the perspective that life is all about connection, her Jewish faith and respect for tenets of different faiths and traditions strengthen her genuine love of all people and dedication to peaceful resolution and existence.
Carol is an award-winning Melbourne-based journalist and business woman. She is experienced in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. Carol has created and grown businesses in the retail, consultancy and business services sectors in the Australian fashion industry. Carol holds a Master of Business Administration from Swinburne University of Technology and a Master of Journalism from Monash University. Carol is a member of the National Council of Jewish Women of Australia (Vic) sitting on the Advocacy and Development committees.

She is also a freelance writer for print and online publications that include The Times of Israel, Sh'ma- A Journal of Jewish Ideas, The Jewish Chronicle, The South China Morning Post, eJewish Philanthropy and Playtimes.
