Susan Hearst a retired business woman currently exploring her family history and hoping to write a memoir about this. Formerly a Joint Managing Director of Tempo Holidays and before that a social worker. I have three adult children and six grandchildren.
Simone is Chief Executive Officer and Director of the Erdi Foundation, an Australian philanthropic foundation immensely proud of its Jewish heritage committed to strengthening community life and addressing disadvantage in Australia and Israel. Simone is a member of the Advisory Board of GlobalJewry.org - an international organisation focused on providing a platform to foster unity, support and celebration of Jewish heritage. She is Co-Vice President of Jewish Care Victoria, the largest Jewish services provider in Victoria and most importantly she is a co-founder of Jewish Women of Words.
Noa Abrahams is completing a Science degree at the University of Melbourne. Noa began her writing at Express Media, writing regularly for the Signal Express. Noa's short story 'Camp Letters: Patrios Lundusism' was selected for publication in 'My First Lesson', an anthology of writing from young authors edited by Alice Pung, which was launched at the Melbourne Writers Festival in 2016. Her piece 'Embracing Scoliosis' was recently shortlisted for the John Marsden and Hachette Australia Prize, and can be read on JWOW now!

Deborah Rechter is one of the editors of Jewish Women of Words. She works really hard in museums and at heritage sites as a curator, teaches creative writing and mentors writers, and has a Ph.D in English Literature.
Emily Gian is the Director of Media and Advocacy at the Zionist Federation of Australia. She is a lover of all things Israeli including literature, food, her husband, music and television, not necessarily in that order.
Ashlea is a Mount Scopus graduate, 2016 Zooz president and is passionate about maintaining and enhancing Jewish identity, community involvement and connection in Jewish youth after school.
